Watergate

Dr. T. Pinnock 1962 (Hartford, Ct)

White house, the best
house in the Nation.
Something is bad,
a bother weighs his sensation.

Big people are sometimes unfair,
Nixon do he care,
he’s like a pear,
McCord do he care?
or is he gonna hide
in his underwear.

Quick you decide!
you know what Nixon recorded,
should he get his peace and
be rewarded?
First lady, maybe your
in it too, cause you
wipe your tears with a shoe.

Nixon will get his part as well,
the fool was foolish enough to tell.
Important men are sometimes slobs,
cause they don’t have to look for jobs.

Dr. T. Pinnock

Dr. Pinnock first wrote poetry in the institution he resided in inside a classroom at 8 years old. The typewriter was old and manual with a keyguard. A keyguard is a device with an opening for each key to prevent a person lacking fine motor skills from accidentally hitting a key. Dr. Pinnock was granted permission to use the class alone. He labored there typing for hours ignoring his cerebral palsy. Dr. Pinnock grew up with his family until August of 1970. Poverty forced his parents to make him a ward of the State of Connecticut. more…
