Heroic Suicide
Suicide can be silly, stupid, cruel or heroic
It depends upon why, how and who are involved.
Silly suicide is the act of a weak
And foolish human.
Moment of one’s madness
Becomes enough with no return.
A stupid act it is,
When the madness of another person.
Forced the coward
To accept defeat
By avoidable reason.
Cruel it becomes
For causing suffering
With unending cries.
To another, for missing the beloved,
To live with tearless eyes.
Heroic suicide is the dying
For some humane cause.
None other suffer,
Just oneself,
By the unselfish task.
Blessed are the freedom fighters,
For the act of suicide.
By acceptance of death,
Which they happily decide.
Willing to serve in armed forces
Is one’s invitation to the same.
Attracting one’s own untimely death,
Knowing the reality of war games.
Great leader of many nations,
Businesses and professions.
Willingly overwork to die,
Leaving happiness at others’ progressions.
Listen, if you are fed up of existing
In this cruel world.
Why not accept heroic suicide,
As a challenge and your grudge.
Once religions, institutions, and family
Are controlled by evils.
And need correcting by humane efforts,
To defeat the devils.
Accept the death of greed, selfish needs,
And egoistic might.
Be willing to live for any cause
Which can only be right.
Live for the well-being of others
And serve humanity as the whole.
Work without wish, will, and want
Of award as your goal.
It will allow pride
For your beloved, race, and nation.
History will record it as heroic,
Not as the shameful mention.
About this poem
In the present World, living is much more sorrowful than dying. Especially when the unnatural difficulties are faced with the knowledge that those are intentionally imposed by foolish, selfish, crooked people or the immoral political system. Natural death releases one’s soul. Thus, allowing it to re-start the onward journey, irrespective of the next stop. Which may be towards Heaven or Hell, depending up on one’s past karma. Ending the physical existence by an intentional suicide for any reason and by a sane person is an unforgettable sin in all religions of our World. The sin for the ‘Innocent Suicide’ by a psychologically ill person are earned by those who were responsible for the cure, care and prevention. more »
