In my Dreams...

Once, I was a preacher
I could talk with confidence and people would flock to hear me,
To talk I did go, the flock before me...
and then nothing more!

Twice, I was a hero
Guns and battle, glory to the land I brought
I was honored
To receive it, I did go, the medal before me...
and then nothing more!

thrice, I was a romantic
a dainty damsel, dressed in white,
she was mine
to kiss her, I did go, the fairy before me...
and then nothing more!

Many a time, I was an intellect
Studious, smart, successful and famous
Every list topped my name
to solve, I did go, the challenge before me...
and then nothing more!

So, tell me what to do...
dream longer
or
dream no more!
