Sinners All

A preacher tells me I should collect all earthly goods
and wealth.
Funny, I thought Jesus said to give up earthly goods
to follow him and be like him.

Later, the preacher commits a sin.
he lays blame for this sin on others, i.e.
friends, his wife.
I thought God gave us free will to decide
whether to do right or wrong.
I thought that if I committed a sin I alone
was responsible for my sin.

This preacher seems to forget that we are sinners,
all of us.
As such we decide by ourselves to do right or wrong.
No one can force us to take the wrong road.
We have to accept full responsibility for our
actions and ask God for forgiveness.
