SAID THE EVIL ABBOTT TO THE MAD, MAD MONK
Said the Evil Abbott to the Mad, Mad Monk,
“Let’s put the people in a funk,
“Let’s persecute the needy poor
“Let’s persecute the working core,
“Let’s persecute students in classrooms
“Let’s persecute the sick and sore!”
Said the Mad, Mad Monk to the Evil Abbott
”Let’s get our blades out from the scabbard,
“Let’s hurt and maim the poor and needy
“And give their largesse to the greedy,
“Let’s plant a crop of evil blooms
“Rancid blossoms, corrupt and seedy.”
Said the Evil Abbott to the Mad, Mad Monk,
“Let’s take old habits from the trunk,
“Let’s hurt the martyrs, whom we hate
“Help evil bastards, whom we overrate,
“Sweep ‘way reform with a dirty broom
“And flush the last hope from this place!”
Said the Mad, Mad Monk to the Evil Abbott,
“Let’s twirl and swirl, in crazed cavort,
“Creating wealth for the already rich
“While abandoning those without a stitch,
“Our fevered song of coming gloom
“Will make the Godly good and sick.”
Said the Evil Abbott to the Mad, Mad Monk,
“Let’s storm around like hopeless drunks,
“Let’s treat the world stage like a circus
“Bringing shame upon our poor caucus,
“We’ll bring the nation close to doom
“Head-butting walls like stupid morons!”
