The Beach is Calling

Bonnie Clark 1958 (Michigan)

The beach is calling
Come and heal
Sit and watch the waves
Slowly take away your cares

As the waves lap at the shore
Each one reaches deep into your soul
Slowly pulling out the bad
The regret and negativity buried inside

Watch the waves lap at the shore
A backdrop to sharing
What happened in the past
A plan for the future made

A quiet calm place to reconnect
Past feelings and memories shared
As two old friends sit in peace
New dreams and wishes planned
