Buds of April

Rhymed
Flowers in the garden
so perfect in every way
they stand strong in the wind
as they gently sway

The flowers light the world
from a darkened state
flowers bring out the beauty
when for April we wait

Buds start to grow
and soon they are flowers
that we used to admire
to while away the hours
