Happy place

Staring at stars
She forgets the pain
As it slowly drifts her
Into a sweet bliss.
Her mind empties itself
As she embraces the void within.
Sinking in to
Her own happy place
She closes her eyes
Attempting to take it all in.

Gentle breeze
Caresses her body
Wiping away
The sweat from forehead.
Even if only for
Matter of moments,
She grabs onto it.
Hugging it ever so tight
She relieves herself
From all the worries
Pulling her down.

Dots of white
Lit up the sky.
Millions of stars
Glowing from above,
Smiling upon her
With twinkling eyes.
Glitters of joy
Flashes her eyes
As she gazes long
With peaceful awe.
