THE BITCH-QUEEN-FUEHRER

Phil Roberts 1957 (Melbourne)

The Bitch-Queen-Fuehrer
Says life is truly fine,
As long as you question nothing
And learn to toe the line.

The Bitch-Queen-Fuehrer says
Accept your position in life,
But her negative action Gestapo
Ensures justice is never rife.

Women, it seems, were meant to rule
That's why they need the Gestapo's help,
To get them high postings at work
That they cannot earn by themselves.

The Bitch-Queen-Fuehrer's equality
Is 'equality' just for women,
It seems she cannot understand
That equality means women and men.

The Bitch-Queen-Fuehrer has
A strange idea of equality,
But then as all her victims know
She has a strange mentality.

'Stay in line!' she tells us all
Or accept the consequences,
She  won't tolerate rebellion
And against her, there's no defences.

The Bitch-Queen-Fuehrer
Has made Australia what it is,
But fighting her injustices, we ask,
'Will it ever be better than this?'

About this poem

For decades men fought hard to obtain equality for women. Now women are in the dominant position, I wonder why they don't fight for men's rights?
