Transformation

When the pains that come up, that ache deep inside
when feelings of dread greeting each morning abide,
When the fear of the future so pertinent and seemingly true
the fear of something void of its own being, untrue.

A freezing fear that can weaken body and spirit
A daunting dread that our life chances limit -
A fear so grotesque, so monstrous, so perverse
It seems to cripple our whole Universe.

For the heart it shuts to Love and to trust
A veil of mistrust over the heart gathers dust
As it numbs the hearts rhythm, silences its beats
Making all successes seem more like defeats.

In the ensuing confusion, anger and crippling fear
the bright silvery light, golden glow doesn't seem at all near,
covered so aptly with a dusty silk veil
perhaps kept in place with a rusty old nail!

The bright silvery light and warm golden glow inside
want to shine outwards from where they reside
filling your whole Being within and the universe too
with Its warmth, peace and joy as they otherwise would do.

Suddenly the veil moves and the dust gently rises
the whole of the body and mind confused by surprises,
are shocked to the core ofthis movement, they shudder
they don't want any more movement, and yet another...
Shift gently and slowly make the veil move ever so slightly
the veil and the dust move ever so lightly,
sliding softly to the side, further to the side
allowing the light to shine through a gap created inside.

Through the gap in the veil the pure silvery light and golden glow
Shine right through ever so bright and do flow
Lighting up the whole of the chest, the back and beyond
the dust disappears in the commotion in a split of a second.
The veil's allowed to slip through the hole
The veil slides and slithers away from the soul,
Unblocking the light, uncovering the glow
Freedom at last from the dust and the veil. So

Unexpectedly, and yet so joyfully and graciously greeted
seemingly mind, body and soul united and seated
Once more at the throne deep within one's own being secured
The bright silvery light, warm golden glow their presence secured.

In the presence of the bright silvery ray of Life and Love
there is a white purity like the innocence of a dove
there is peace, joy and a still serenity.
Rest there for a while, so that you can see

And experience with your own Awareness and Mind
that within the body and the mind does abide
a shimmering Presence golden, silver and white so sublime,
rest your gaze, have a look, an experience Divine!

Of what lies beyond the names, the labels and the fears
of what lies beyond conditioning, brain washing and tears
of what cannot properly by words be described
can only be experienced through an open and willing Heart and Mind.

Allow the Heart, Mind, Awareness and Consciuosness to rest
Open, trusting and spacious this theory to test
do not take what I say as being totally true,
experience it directly for you... yes, for you!
