2020’s NIGHTMARE VISION

2020’s nightmare vision
Is a vision that brings us pain,
While people starve in Melbourne Town
Rudd procrastinates again.

He orders all the premiers
To give him one big idea,
But when we ask to be helped now
He says, ‘No bloody fear!’

He’s planning for the future
But in the present, we have to starve,
He says he’ll give us nothing
So, ‘Be grateful for what you have!’

But all we have is poverty,
Misery and failure,
So he’ll plan ahead, forget us now
That’s the story of Australia!

So Rudd ‘the dud’ forgets us
And neglects us in our poverty,
He’s too busy hassling the Queen
To take away her sovereignty.
