Unspoken Words

To my dearest darling, my wife
Your not just a part of my life
You are my sweet angel of delight
My greatest strength, my only fight

In your eyes I see a love so sweet
Patience and compassion all hidden beneath
Warmth and tenderness written all over
All on me, you forever have showered

You toil for me, morning till night
Keeping things tidy, setting them all right
Food you cook so delicious and mild
Love you make so passionate and wild

Beautiful you are in all your thoughts
Some sense into me you have brought
Shown me the many ways to be
Given me the many days to dream

Have comforted me in every way
With kisses, hugs and words each day
Each moment with you I do treasure
Whether it be all work or just leisure

The light I have seen in your eye
My path I now see it clearly lie
Some good I must have done in past
Heavens I pray for it to all last

Hope I can please you in every way
Today, tomorrow and till my dying day
But for right now, I to you, say
Happy Valentine’s Day

Mahesh Wadhwani

I always apologize for the length of my text as that’s the best way for me to communicate rather than verbally!! Not a man of many words but still manage to doodle when in mood to write, which is rare!! I am not even sure if what I scribble is poetry or even what form or just words that rhyme!! To me writing is an art, a sign of creativity and a means of expression. I don't really think that anyone can just write without any feelings, without having felt, without having lived, experienced or cherished. Whatever one writes, there is some amount of a persons own feelings and presence or of those around them, indicated in the works. So I am thankful to all the people in my life and those yet to come for having given me life, love, happiness and even pain. At-least I have had the opportunity to feel it , live it and express it, whatever it maybe. Cheers! more…
