Garden Dream

BijiB

Free verse
Away I walked
Into a vast oasis of green flowering trees and bushes
Flowers in bloom
A delight to the eyes

A sea of color
I waded through the vibrancy of life
Birds flew into the trees
Butterflies encircled me and fluttered away

My pain diminished
My thoughts painted
I dreamed eyes wide open and escaped
from reality

A needed vacation
A choice celebration
I had learned to dream
I had dream a little day dream
