It wasn't it,

Billie dee ryder 1979 (Kamloops BC)

I actually thought I found that person. The one that makes your heart race just at the very thought of them,
the person that makes you smile even on the worst day ever,
the one who gives you that reason to wake up when you  don't want to,
and who leaves you missing him before he's even gone.
He played a good game.
I gave benefit of the doubt when I should have been more suspicious,
I believed words that were clearly lies, and trusted that he cared as much as he said he did.
Instead of carefully pulling each brick away from my wall and replacing  it with trust and security
He took a sledge hammer and left me damaged with an unfixable vulneritablility.
He took my happiness and gave back tears and sadness.
He left me standing alone feeling stupid and made sure everyone saw me and thought of me as a fool.
For all of this I just wanna say thank you for it will only make me stronger.

Billie dee ryder

I am 42 from canada. I have three beautiful grown children and a grandson 4 reasons to be proud. They are kind gentle souls that I raised alone. I want them to remember to never settle for anything less then love. Although love should never be easy the reason being is you will never really appreciate easy. It should also never really hurt to love someone or to be loved people make mistakes and should be forgiven but some mistakes dont deserve a forever end. That I finally learned. more…

An awesomely expressed poem on a common issue of uncommitted unfaithful love, so you are not alone but your muse is superb to read. Kudos!!
