Once, the waves of time brought us, close,
Let Float together happily awhile,
Drifted away, again the waves! Afar
Still happiest togetherness, we feel;
The Magic of Friendship, even apart!!

About this poem

Covid-19 lockdown made life face strange scenes and experiences. A stranger became poet's best friend: He was stranded due to travel restrictions. Every evening he passed close to the poet's house. A few exchanges of smiles and pleasantries.. On his return hometown, the stranger requested contact number.. And now, since one-and-half years, he and the poet are good friends: Soulmates? Magic Of Friendship??
