THE EGRIGOR

Like a doppelganger
The Egrigor takes the look,
Of newly dead.

The impersonating
The dead loved ones, the
The Egrigor spreads terror.

Terrified to see
Their dead husband/father back,
His family cries out.

Crying out in fear
Of their deceased husband,
Of their deceased father.

Though looking like him
The Egrigor cannot speak,
And his touch can kill.

Living on the soul
Of the dear departed,
Soon enough he must leave.

Move to his next host
Devouring another soul,
Taking another guise.

THE END
