For Alone

A quiet midnight sky
up on the roof
sounds drift and sigh
I lose the ugly
peacefully I try
I see narry an image
way up tonight
for the moon in her beauty
stars twinkle bright
lifetime's away from me this night
the darkness is the glory
a comforting cry
for to say that I am lonely
is a such a lie
for whom could be alone in such a magical twilight
