The Dream Of The King

Tabitha J. Bryson 1973 (Indianapolis, Indiana)

Listen to me
do you hear this voice
but can you not see
do not judge We
by what you may see
I do not see you
though you stand in front of me
I learned to listen
to your soul as it speaks
though I judge you not
I know that you are unique
each one of Us
are creatures of a God divine
and it's because of this
that I feel your soul touch mine
let's walk together
in perfect harmony
feeling peace surrounding us
while others join with we
singing a deeply spiritual song
we'll hold hands while we march along
pure love is all that will remain
from this dream that was his
but today in this world
is this actually
all that there is?
