Escape

Arpan Dey 2004 (West Bengal)

I just wanna escape
Escape from you
Escape from reality
Escape from everything
But I can't escape
Escape from you
Escape from reality
Escape from everything

Oh I just wanna give up
It's too hard to hold on
Too hard to accept
Oh I just wanna forget
It's too hard to feel it
Too hard to relive it again
Too hard to live life

I was quite alright
You know, okay
But after I came to know
I just went astray

I just wanna escape
Escape from you
Escape from reality
Escape from everything
But I can't escape
Escape from you
Escape from reality
Escape from everything

Oh I just wanna sit quiet
It's too hard to get up
Too hard to let life move on
Too hard to take revenge
Oh I just wanna end it
It's too hard to let it go on
Too hard to take the last step
Too hard to end it all

Sudden bursts of euphoria
Came and faded again.
I've never been okay since then
And never will I be again.

I just wanna escape
Escape from you
Escape from reality
Escape from everything
But I can't escape
Escape from you
Escape from reality
Escape from everything

So I have to go on somehow
Pushing myself beyond my breaking point
I have to give one more chance to life
I have to get back to normal
So I have to push it somehow
I have to wrestle with it and force it
To the back of my mind
I just have to live on with it
Have to pretend I've accepted
While in reality I can never get over it
