There's Pain In Believing

Tabitha J. Bryson 1973 (Indianapolis, Indiana)

There's pain in believing
that love will never end....
There's pain in believing
of loyalty from a friend....
There's pain in believing
that life is to be lived....
There's pain in believing
in all that one can give....
There's pain in believing
In the words that one says....
There's pain in believing
in knowing it all ends....
There's pain in believing
in the power of love....
There's pain in believing
in a God up above....
There's pain in believing
in these words that were said....
But the real pain is knowing
that the believing will end.
