Never wanted to love again

I fell in love
My heart came out to play
I tried to fight it
To push all those feelings away.

But every time i saw you
I looked into those beautiful eyes
I felt as if your soul caputed mine
I couldnt resist,

My love just kept growing
My heart let down walls
Leaving me vulnerable
When i needed to protect it the most.

I never wanted to love anyone again
Stupidly this time
I let it happen thinking
We were friends, i'd be fine

The pain just intensified
more everyday
The pain just got worse
In 5a1every possible way

Tears are now a normal
There like clockwork thesedays
Everyday its somthing new
PLEASE SAY NO EXCUSES TODAY

im taking my heart back
Today im taking it away
You dont deserve me
Im to good to be treated this way

Some body wants me
Who will protect me from pain
Someone who will look after me
Inturn ill do the same

Ill love u forever
But its goodbye and goodday

I am 42 from canada. I have three beautiful grown children and a grandson 4 reasons to be proud. They are kind gentle souls that I raised alone. I want them to remember to never settle for anything less then love. Although love should never be easy the reason being is you will never really appreciate easy. It should also never really hurt to love someone or to be loved people make mistakes and should be forgiven but some mistakes dont deserve a forever end. That I finally learned. more…
