Thinking of You

The sun smiling down,
     during an afternoon walk.
     Sharing tomorrows dreams,
     or just playfully talk,

Lending my shoulder,
     to shed those painful tears.
     Your tender embrace,
     calming my darkest fears.

Someone special to hold,
     in my arms at night.
     your soothing touch,
     ending my lonely plight.
 
Your wonderful smile,
     and that sparkle in your eye,
     Telling me it's ok,
     for a grown man to cry.

You're as soft as a whisper,
     and you heart's pure and true.
     These things I remember,
     when I think of you.
