A Patient Man!

I used to be someone who could wait all day,
No matter the time or weather I would surely stay,
But like all things in life there are limits that are set,
And being a human man, I am bound to lose the bet,
Time is the weakness that we all share,
If it doesn’t wear us out, it’s sure to raise a scare,
It fills us with doubts about an uncertain ending,
That makes us make quick decisions if only pretending,
Patience is my last defense that protects my heart,
If I lose all of it my life will fall apart!
