The Reason Why

Take me on another ride....
Take me to the other side.
Loving you has got to be....one of The world's greatest mysteries.

You have gone and I am alone, but I am still here,.
But yet I feel you are always near.
Because I see my memories of you before my eyes, the times we had before you said goodbye.

My Love for you shines in the dark.
You are the blood pumping thru my heart.
I am ready to fly - because without you I can not stay....
My Love for you grows every day.

I shall fly straight into the heart of the sunrise  and then fly  thru the center of the rainbow,  spreading my wings, flying high  over my sorrows for there a fire burning in my veins...I am like a galloping horse with no reins.
And I will strive the break or unlock the chains of grief I have, at your leaving.
You gave my life meaning.
And on you I was leaning.

Now my back is against the wall That holds up the blackened  skies,
Because I did not know why....
We didn't try to stay together.

Have you. It would have burned Away the scars that have always Marred my future. When I was Young, I never neede anyone....now I am grown and adventursome  and wild, with hope in my eyes.

I could not tell the truth from all the lies....but now I see the road I am upon is going to be a struggle, because you are gone.  I may be in the sea of life,  but I will not drown.  I can't be tamed or broken down.  But will fall into the deep dark greyish recesses of grief....and from it....granted, I will find no relief.

I will not give up the fight, I will not go gently into the demon dark night....to find out if my sin is wrong or right.

I will turn my dream of you into reality - in my mind, I will conceive and conjure you up, when I want you, so that we might spend some time....together...perhaps I will be thinking of you forever.

Me and my memories of you.  For me, this is  all I want to do, to finally be under the clear blue skies with you in my mind and know the answer to all the whys.
