Tomorrow is a shiny bauble
For those without toys today
A source of hope and possibilities
For those defeated today
Tomorrow is a dangling carrot
To the laden souls of today
A banquet of merry and joy
To those mourning today
Tomorrow is a coronation day
To the oppressed of today
A chance for leadership
To the sidelined of today
Tomorrow is a rainy day
For the drought of today
A bright summer delight
For the hail of today
Tomorrow will surely come
For those robbed of today
And it will bring success
For all failures of today
Tomorrow might hold great promise
Or worse fate than today
And though very alluring
Only comes second to my today
I choose today!
