Moving Pictures

The movie plays, as the head lays to rest
no title, no plot, something I did not request
forced into the psyche, until the rest is done
there is no off button, and it has only just begun
weird as any undesirable, horror story tale
awake in a dream, in bed, gliding on a story trail
tugging me along, entertainment senses overload
the cost of cold sweat, I'm on auto pilot mode
eventful sharing of a mind, restless yet asleep
scenery changing quickly, light flickering images
leap
absolute unpredictable, outcome dialogue non
scripted
hand leading letters, words translated encrypted
the show awake I now know, passing time remember
July heat nap, inside my head, December
description of a tale, impossibly reenacted
sketching outline, cranial visual cortex, distracted
relations to my life, opposite from the real
meaning of what counterparts, unveiling to reveal
wishing it were over, but it goes into extra innings
these dreams, have no ending, middle, or beginnings
