Soothing Schmoozers

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

Lively.
Talkative.
And soothing smooth schmoozers.
Dependable to entertain.
While manipulating,
For self gain to obtain.
With expertise and unquestioned skills.
To perform and leave unconscious minds,
Left to believe...
Their time has well been spent.
Paying at their expense,
To remain and stay blindly ignorant.
Done to do to solicit and recruit,
Others to accept themselves as participants...
Of having their quality of life,
Noticeably sliding downhill...
As a benefit that eventually returns,
Dividends.
And everlasting Prosperity.
If they commit,
Donating their thoughtlessness...
To deluding what is fictioned kept,
For their entire lives.
Until lies they tell to themselves become true!

'And...
For how long should we do this?'

'Your guess is as good as mine.
However...
There has been times,
I have been told...
If I wanted wine to drink,
Instead of water to quench my thirst?
Guess what?'

'What?'

'I drank that water,
Until I could afford wine to drink.'

'That's nothing more,
Than mental manipulation!'

'Only if,
You are incapable to imagine.
And you have a preference for beer.
But keep this in mind,
Whether you imagine beer or wine...
The cost of it,
Will still come out of your pocket.
To go into the pocket of someone else.'

'That analogy?
Makes no sense at all.'

'Imaginations to invest in them,
Is not an overnight process.
The return for your tithing comes.
After that is done.
It takes patience.
Any preacher will tell you that!
You must stay a faithful believer.
