mother

I know that you will never hear this
I regret never saying this when I could
When you were here
Before the pain that is filling the hole that you had to leave

But you were my hope, love, and shield
From the darkness of the world
I remember the shock I felt when you died
I felt that I never said ‘i love you' enough

But I want to heal everything
The pain, the self-hatred, the broken pieces of my heart
And I will but it will be hard and make the pain worse
It will be confusing and ill want to stop

But ill heal to make you proud
I will always love you
And you will always be on my mind
But I have to move on and be strong
