Between You And Me

Julie Rebecca-Lynn Walser 1977 (Lexington)

What was I thinking when I stepped into your world, that nothing else matters and I didn't care if you had a girl, I swear I wanted to talk to you but I didn't know how, afraid of what I might say if I speak to loud, I don't want you to miss nothing or leave anything out, nothing that would have you worried or leave you with any doubt, it's crazy cause I'm not rushing out trying to move too quick, I want this to bed perfect as if I'm hitting a lick, I don't know what's happening or even who's to blame, do much head changed yet everything's the same, what are we doing can either of us explain , all I know it's when I'm with you I feel no more pain,  when I'm not close to you I still feel you there, I'm your favorite blanket and your my teddy bear, I want to sing a love song or make love to you with my wordscapes, keeping it straight as a arrow so you won't miss any curves, I don't know what to call it, it's not love quite yet, but it's nothing I want to just up and forget, I know that it's special and it's a major deal, I don't know what else to do except keep it real, it's spontaneous and fun just what we both need, I love this thing we got going between you and me, love it's a battle that I'm destined to win, what about you are you out of in, I don't want this to be put all on you cause we are in this together, damn how I pray that this will last forever.
