Easier Said Than Done

Driver in my hand
shivers up the spine
Keep it straight
and all is fine
Practiced all too long
not to go to waste
I must ease it now
into the right place
Physical exertion first
then relaxing fun
That white thing
shot off like a gun
The chase is part of it
finding it sometimes hard
With forethought and planning
to play the right card
When it's all over
convinced of your performance
Feeling the victory
