Too Shy

Meshack Bwoyele Keya 1960 (Vihiga)

Too shy' the words do on the tab scroll.

Flying be not their vocabulary.

Too hard for them is to stroke.

Hiding remains their story

Force them as hard to even crawl

Theirs is a life of being too sorry

Beat them to pull or drowl

Disappointment will be your glory

They seem easy to spoil.

While their life remains lowly.

Am in search to get a solution.

You may have the idea to force them fly.

They are eagles in revolution.

Too unfortunate the chicken sucks them dry.

When will they undergo an evolution?

My eyes tear in an overwhelming cry.

To me they are but pollution.

As they do not even ever try.

Am disappointed in dissolution.

Desperate making them fly.

Am disappointed for ever having written.

They are posts too poor in quality.

Yet my brain they did smitten.

Now I spy them with pity.

They can't fly like kitten

They soil my reputation with gritty.

Content be not easy to threaten.

They won't fly in quantity

Never in anger be stricken

In their time they will fly pretty.

About this poem

Sometimes we may try to force things to be done but they adamantly refuse. They are like eagles born among chicken. They are too shy to fly.
