That Darn Clock

THAT DARN CLOCK
By Eula E. Bourne
Tick tock, tick tock
Doesn't that ticking ever stop?
Ticking and tocking the whole day through
Keeping the time
For me, for you.

Tick tock, tick tock,
Seems that ticking never stops.
Tocking and ticking from morning to night
Telling the time
And keeping it right.

Tick tock, tick tock,
Please-can't someone make it stop!
Ticking and tocking as loud as can be
Driving me crazy
Goodness me!

Tick tock, tick tock,
All that ticking HAS to stop!
Tocking and ticking and keeping me wake.
SHUT THAT THING OFF!!
For goodness sake!
