Explicit Is The Illness

Explicit is the illness,
A thoughtlessness contributes.
This only takes one unaware.
And effectively unconscious.
Spreading assumptions.
That attracts distracted actors,
Performing acts without facts.
Diseasing minds gone way off track.

Only a miracle,
Will bring minds like that back.
From a distorted view of life.
Convinced to follow,
Tour guides solicited to delude...
A trip that blinds,
Truth to exclude refusing to accept.
Regardless if this journey taken,
Has them sinking in quicksand.
Yet told to expect,
Each step forward made...
Will be an experience that brings benefits.

If...
They all remain patient enough,
To await...
For the bottom to eventually,
Be reached and stopped.
With awarding them,
Prosperity to discover...
Their own pot of gold,
At that mountaintop to keep it envisioned!

'Uh...
I hate to be the only one,
Who is perceived to be negative...
About this fantastic adventure.
But...
I have decided to stay grounded.
Since I have heard,
Many who have taken this journey...
For whatever the reason disappeared.
With no one to hear,
Another word from them again.'

'Do as you wish.
However...
How many do you know,
Will announce where they found...
Their own pot of gold?
And...
With their name,
Glistening brighter than any bling ever seen?'

'And this...
You have personally witnessed?'

'My job you may question with suspicion,
Is that of a hired messenger.
That's it.'

'You must be paid very well,
To sell such nonsense.'

'Oh?
So...
You want this to get personal?
You want to take this to that low level!'

'Not at all.
I'm not into rumors to gossip.
Or verifiable innuendos.
That's what I do.
To first observe before I make a move!
