Sign Of The Zodiac

An unplanned for trip into bear land
colors with definition, but without purpose
movements in the compiled movie scene scope
minutes or hours have passed, unknowingly
cats in the boxes, one white one black
rescuing them just in time to topside safety
an enormous zodiac bear, purest of white
looms the area below, his area and domain
we are forced up and out of harms way
scratching claws and thunder-mouth growls
terrify both the cats and I
so terrifying, that I can hardly look down
the bear is just one, but omnipresent
we have no where to go, fear consumes us
we have climbed up to safety for now
this is our rest, from instant demise below
the zodiac now silent in the fourth realm
we are still as the bear circles us
finally the zodiac wonders off uninterested
the fear subsides as my eye's open to black
