Charmed Till Then

Small rooms, lives that outreach
smaller neighborhoods, seemed large enough to
teach
experience ingested through your senses
compiling assets, minimizing your expenses
leaving it all behind, but hardly forgotten
taught how to take it, no matter how rotten
changes for possible homeland culture shock
distance time traveling changes your clock
wrong side irritable bedtime wakeup
never a Sunday sleep in, as nightmares corrupt
transition from this state to none
waking from suspended darkness, into the sun
dreamscape catcher, nightmare I give
last nights colors, I don't want to relive
reinvent the persona if you must
energy on something prevents you from rust
immobile and sometimes giving up in mode
the next process to follow is to erode
reinstate my gradual fuller return
terrified of sedentary and of major concern
