Born a sweet young genius with a brain
schooled in the public, what a pain
started drinking when I was only eight
know wonder it's my life I now create
the bully squad, made up of thugs
beat me up, and forced me to do drugs
downward spiral mental case
on a mission of memory erase
got me some of that really, stupid
drug love connection marriage, from cupid
cool I suppose until around age 16
extended adolescence, future unseen
drifting away, to be accepted
25 and my life I intercepted
reading the book of words
bought a package from the nerds
all too many confusing revelations
huge testing puzzle of complications
coastline solitude, chasing heady feels
now I'm a bitter old man on training wheels
