Admission without Excuse
His name is like a mission,
as words try to confuse,
his sharp sword without use,
he aches of thwarted ambition.
I'm watching his transition
to escape from his recluse,
his working days profuse,
a shattered past’s contrition.
Though unaware of my decision
to fight his state of apparition,
he’s much too real to stay obtuse.
The heart he lost, I’ll reproduce!
There will be no need for truce.
What I propose is not abstruse.
I’m offering the shared fruition
of solid love without condition.
With my feelings on the loose,
for now I paint this like a Titian,
the man I love without remission,
and the warmth we can induce.
