Ceasing

Cavern 1995 (Ibra)

Flakes of ice, and shivering beanie
A child forlorn
Boxes scattered on the curve
The rumbling echo, and the wail
Reminiscing the cavern in warm days
Eyes now wide, lips shrunk
Falling out and beyond,
A moonless night;
Alone I lay, helpless, unmovable
O, pray, quivering lips
As I lay here
With undying eyes.

About this poem

I wrote this poem with a scenario of intense cold and a cavern with labors and kids. One of the kid in the quest of freedom ran away from the cavern.
