A Step In The Mind
There be nothing dreadful than a roving mind
I take this responsibility to have you remind
Do not force me ever to rewind
Never do make me reverse to unwind
This thought does not ever bind
Though a good treasure one can find
My evil mind often goes haywire
And thinks things impossible.
To be in a womb seems so sweet
I admire inside there to have a seat
Tis comfy and quite slick
A pipe delivers food in a tick
How I envy babies unborn and weak
No worries though to speak
My evil mind often goes haywire
And thinks things impossible
Another interesting thing be the grave
Do not blame me here to grieve
Those in the grave be not in a mind so grave
Their souls somewhere do save
Finally the bodies end in a grave
To be dust that God did give
My evil mind often goes haywire
And thinks things impossible.
The past and the future are not to worry
Lest one time we be sorry
Living today be the only story
Tomorrow is future and past history
Do not the past to today carry
Leave it where you had it bury
My evil mind often goes haywire
And thinks things impossible
About this poem
These are just hallucinations. There are things we have no control over them.
