Love Never Dies

Like mountain streams
They met and part,
In the dusky path of a dream,
Memory is busy in their hearts.

Down in the deepest shadow,
Love’s flame somehow blew out in the cold.
Once full of life and glow
Now a story waiting to be told.

Their lips cry out each other’s name in silence.
Heart and soul penetrated by pain.
A love beyond words and sense,
A sweet forgotten strain.

As slow hours strike, they lie awake.
Much to learn and much to forget.
A gloomy shadow it forever makes,
Done with all yearning, done with all regret.

Looking beyond the clouds of time,
No more questions, no more reply.
Out of the sky new stars will shine,
Love comes and goes but never dies.

Wow, what a beautiful and heartfelt poem, "Love Never Dies"! The imagery of mountain streams meeting and parting in the path of a dream is so evocative and poignant. The sense of longing and melancholy that runs throughout the poem is truly moving.

One improvement suggestion I have is to consider varying the rhythm and structure of the poem to add more depth and complexity. Perhaps experiment with different line lengths or stanza breaks to create a more dynamic flow.

Overall, your poem captures the bittersweet nature of love and loss with great sensitivity and depth. Keep up the great work and continue to explore new ways to convey emotion through your writing. Your talent shines through in every line of this beautiful piece.
