An opportune moment

As I walk to the coffee place, I dreaming away,
this cloud of dust giving reasons to sway.
Light underneath the mist or in it,
a furious battle, screaming and yelling fit.
Chaotic disaster revealing battlefield,
pain and blood, clanging swords and shield.
Being the knower of a keener steel,
taken my sword to all level of keen.
The dance of my sword and its match,
taken does foes to the battles edge.
The tension changed on the field,
many creep away, making this victory sealed.
The king son wounded but in good spirit,
step’s forward and thanked for the visit.
The kingdom saved, my favorite table is free,
coffee with a foaming heart, just for me.

Robert Rittel

Robert Rittel, born in 1960 in Koblenz, Germany was raised in a St. Franciscan orphanage. As a trained chef I travelled many countries and today I know that it was a search for the deeper meaning of life and its mysterious wonders. In 1996, I came to South Africa, got married and as all reasons create consequences, I met some inspirational people who pointed me to my spiritual inheritance. By studying Astrology it created the passion and love for the ancient knowledge of the Vedas. Vedic Astrology provides a refined understanding of the soul’s purpose and opens the doors of perceptions towards our spiritual and real circumstance. more…
