Seductress of the Night

Ron VanHooser 1956 (Franklin County, MO)

Seducing whispers float upon the breeze
as scents of jasmine waft on the midnight air.
A soft, elusive presence comes to tease;
her gentle, tempting touch extends a dare.

A zealous sea of charm engulfs your soul
as rapture's queen absorbs your fantasies.
The pathways of your mind are where she'll stroll
while capturing erotic memories.

She'll slowly paint desire upon your face
as dazzling eyes entrance you with their gaze.
She'll bind you tightly in delight's embrace
and gently coax you through excitement's maze.

Enthralled, you'll walk the shores of Eden's twin
where waves of captivation brush your feet.
You'll hold enticement's hand as floods begin
to bathe your dreams in passion's swirling heat.

As pleasure's diva thrills you 'til the morn,
she drowns you in her swells of ecstasy.
Allegiance to this empress has been sworn;
no longer is your virile spirit free.

The colors of the dawn invade your sleep
and cast a shooting ray of brilliant light.
You waken with a yearning that is deep;
a gift from this Seductress of the Night.
