Daddy I miss you

Daddy. I miss you. Are you still around?
I call for you and hear no sound
I cry from my soul my heart is broke
Feels like my life is up in smoke
Nothings been the same since you went away
I wish I could bring you back to stay
Its been a few months but it feels like ages
Drive by your house I get enraged
I feel like you were stollen from me
I think of your smile, your eyes I no longer see
Pictures around my house remind me of you
Memories of all the hell I put you through
I'd bring you back if I could so I could make it right
If I could change it all now we'd never ever fight
I love you so much dad and miss you a lot
My heart is still scattered in the very spot
I cry for you often at night when I'm alone and awake
I feel like those drs must have made a mistake
Someone took you away from me
And I'm tired so tired of the misery
But I know my kids need me as I needed you
So I'll stand tall and stay strong as that's what you'd want me to do.

I love you Glenn Weldon Jennings Jr.
Love always,
Your baby
