I hope you wait

I feel so lonely since you went away
Tears fell from my eyes since that day
I try to smile through my pain
Missing you is easy i wish i could see you again
Your smile once lite a room so black
I'd give anything to have you back
A part of me died when your golden heart stopped beating
I try to pray but find it hard to continue believing
Part of me keeps hoping you'll walk back through the door
And I won't have to miss you any more
Grandpa, Daddy, & Grandma all moved on to a better place
Can't help but miss you as tears fall down my face
Memories come flooding my daily thought
So much love you've always brought
But God oh God he called you home
To the heaven up above where you will roam
Saving a space for your loved ones who pass after you
For now you'll live on in all that we do
The pain of losing you gets stronger as days go bye
Can't stay strong no matter how hard i try
I love you with every breath i take
Not telling you daily was my mistake
You passed before i was ready to let you go
& I'll continue loving you more than you know
Rest now in heaven at the pearly gates
When my time comes i hope you await
