No News

Kevin Anderson 1965 (Ill)

No news is good news?
Is the message you sending for true?
It's been a month of Sundays or maybe two
Since the last I've heard a whisper
Have you been drab or chipper?

No news is good news is an old adage
So,  if that true don't worry bout my disadvantage
Of not knowing if your a big tipper
Or if you're sipping wine from the Big Dipper

You left your mark on my heart
Deafening is the silence on my part
No news is good news about how you do?
No news is the message of good news sent by you?

Kevin Anderson

From ghetto fabulous to military standards with customs and courtesies. The Path taken in life from the United States of America to far and distant lands has indubitably exposed me bare. The adventure has made the person; the man. Born in Illinois, raised in East St. Louis and Royal Lakes, from there the fam hightailed it to California. Dallied in Inglewood then Bompton or Compton, some do say. Signed my name on the dotted line bringing the world into full view. I joined the United States Air Force in 1986, fully retired in 2016, 30 years of honorable service and of making life do what it does so I can do what I do when I do what I do communicating my thoughts or a few. more…
