Rains -Much Awaited!!!
Pitter-patter fell the rain drops
Hopping in a puddle with flip-flops
Out with an umbrella when there is a drizzle
The glasses blotted due to mizzle
Waiting desperately for the monsoons
Getting drenched and looking like cartoons
It's music to hear rains pelting
Like heaven the earth is smelling
All plants and trees are fully soaked
With scorching heat, humidity has eloped
Exciting it is to make paper boats
And watch if it drowns or floats
The earth seems to be rejuvenating
For over is its long waiting
The nature is narrating it's story
Springs and rivers flowing in glory
