The Last Ravan (Chapter 1)
Sir Evergrace Longsword 1967 (California)
Blood spilt on my blade, my armour is wrecked,
a darkened spirit comes forth, of an unknown sect
Last of my kind, the rest lay slain,
I must survive, and not die in vain
I sheathe my sword, as I crawl away,
to continue the fight, I must live this day
A black dragon symbol, pierced by a blazing red sword,
marks their armour, as they come toward
A shallowed out hole, within a molten lair,
I crawl within, more pain than I can bear
A stone made of blue, a sparkling inside,
I speak its true name, I am no longer fried
A dark figure I see, from a slight in a wall,
a conjuring of evil, a blackness it does call
Those that lay slain, become slave to this power,
their souls scream out, each on every hour
The voices I hear, tear out my heart,
the agony I feel, tears me apart
The black dragon symbol, breathes into life,
a conquest of goodness, to give only strife
A stone made of yellow, I pull from my pack,
I speak its full name, it disperses the black
An explosion of light, a golden aura comes true,
I am healed at last, by a dimensional hue
My sword glows so bright, that it lights up the sky,
in an instant all the darkness, says its last goodbye
An unknown medallion, falls to the ground,
my mission incomplete, my intentions are sound
A continued journey, this I must take,
no choice do I have, the universe is at stake
