The minds desert

I'm crossing this dessert called life with limited resources.
The sun's beating down on me but, I wont complain.
Because I usually do when its the rain.
I'm thirsty and it has nothing to do with water, its knowledge and understanding that I starve for.
But if I keep eating and drinking nonsense then I dont deserve more.
I stumble across a mirage called happiness so I smile for a minute.
Then that smile turns upside down when I learn that lifes full of shit and I'm the one standing in it.
I'm searching for a camel no toe for this journey  but that's all I see. Stretched pants lashes weave cleavage and titties is somehow getting the best of me.
I'm not looking for drama no baby no momma I'm cutting that suit this new Trump no Obama.
And this emperors new groove doesn't involve a lama.
Im building walls so I'm not going to complain about yours.
Keeping the wrong people out letting the right ones in is a hell of a chore. This is me talking about my walls once more.
Wondering just how many grains of sand remain in our glass.
Detrimental rain pours may not last the monsoon of neglect shall now pass.
We wondered if we would make it, but we wont ask.
Tattered ruins of a blissful life now diminished,  joy happiness and laughter has been relinquished.  Putting on for the Jones's is now finished and a lack of oxygen to my brain has my head spinning.
My failures matches yours I guess we twining.
Casting our cares, on the Hope's of men I guess I'm sinning.
Knowing theres only God in the beginning so I'll drop everything else and hold on to that and now I'm winning.
I'm crossing this dessert called life with limited resources.
Looking to the sky.
Trusting and believing that my well will never run dry.
Peace
