Representing Unique Qualities

One has to be blessed to witness,
Seasons, moods and attitudes...
Change quicker than a model.
Hired to prance up and down,
A lit catwalk.
Thin as a rail to introduce fashions.
No one can afford on urban streets.
Or be seated next to someone,
Only the elite amongst themselves...
Know to be,
Representing unique qualities.

However...
Left resting on shores,
In an alternate Universe.
Are detached minds.
Light years away.
Too distant for the Hubble Telescope,
To detect.
A reality that serves humanity.
Or...
A crumbling infrastructure.
Oh No!
The Heavens know this to be a no-no!

Since this to attend,
Is not a fad to exchange pretensions.
Pretensions emulated to imitate,
By those less fortunate.

Also caught up,
Into ignoring the reality...
Of a quality of life.
Left to leave these decisions to make,
To those who are skilled...
In the performing of flushing toilets.
And gathering in groups to announce,
For all the media to see and hear...
Their latest incompetent movement,
Towards the bottom to prove...
How they perceive what power is,
To achieve and acquire it to maintain!
