I am in this world but not of it

I am living in this world but I can't be a party to what goes on in it.
I am not of this world I am just on it for a season, I have saw things happen, for which there is no reason.

I've seen  hatred, bigotry, and such a horrible divide, oh I am living in this old world its such a bumpy ride.

I love the hills and even valleys it's going down I feel so high, I know to be strong we have to go through trials
thats when we truly touch the sky.

oh I live in this old world of blue but it's not my home , when my journey is through
